How has your class been behaving so far this December? My class has been pretty perfect...until now! It seems they left for Thanksgiving break, and came back a different group! They have been bitten by the holiday bug! I needed a fun way to reign them back in for the next two weeks of school before we leave for Winter Break. I wanted to incorporate our class elf, Jingle in the plan, so I came up with the freebie file below. 

I plan to have my elf, Jingle, leave the letter, mini charts, coupons, and reindeer for us to find on Monday. Any stuffed reindeer will do, and you can have your students name him if you like. Each group will receive a chart, and I plan to award groups stickers on their charts when they are on task and attentive during class. The thing I love about using stickers and not stamps is I can peel the stickers off if students don't follow the rules! The group with the most points at the end of the day will get to keep the reindeer at their table group the next day. I also plan to award the winning group with a gum, candy, pencil, or homework pass, which are also included. I'm hoping that a little friendly competition will be just what the kiddos need to get them through the next two weeks, including the testing they have to complete!
