Hello there! Seriously, where has this month gone? This time of year is so crazy busy, and time flies by so fast! I can't believe it's almost November, and this is the last week of our fun "Fall"ing Prices Linky! A special thank you for Laura from A Grace-Filled Classroom for making this linky party happen! It has been so much fun!
First up on sale for $2 today only is my brand-new Fall "Fun"damentals pack. (The cover looks a lot like the linky button, Laura made, LOL!) This pack has lots of practice for basic ELA skills geared for second and third graders. I created it for my combo since these are the skills we are practicing right now: prefixes, contractions, plural nouns, editing sentences, common, proper, and abstract nouns, and possessives. Click on the picture below to see it in my store!
Check out the file below. It comes in color and black and white.
Here's my laminated pile! I had time today to cut it out while the kids worked on their district writing assessment! I LOVE laminating, cutting out, and organizing files!
And here's how I organize each activity. I use 5 x 7 envelopes from Staples. I have included the title pages and directions for each activity. I glue the title onto the front, and the directions onto the back. The cards go inside, and the envelopes go into a file folder with pockets. (Also at Staples)
And my cute felt bags, pails, and fall plates an bowls are all ready to go for centers this week!
My next item on sale for $2 is my Idioms pack with a New Year's owl theme. The kiddos had so much fun with this last year! It really helped them to understand this difficult concept! Included are two different task card sets, teaching posters, a tea party activity,  and recording sheets. Click on the picture below to see more about this pack. And everything else in my store is 20% off!
Be sure to link up! I can't wait to see what you have to share!

I can't believe it's the third week of October already! I'm coming to the end of my first trimester at school- and gearing up for report cards and conferences soon! Time is really flying by this year! And it's time for our "Fall"ing Prices Linky Party!
Today I'm putting two of my dog and cat related items on sale for $2.00 each! This is one of my first TpT products and one of my all-time favorites! I am planning my Dogzilla unit right now, and I'm super excited to use this file next week! Of course we read Kat Kong and the informational read Cats vs. Dogs to add to the fun! The kids love it!
What adds to the fun of this center are the dog bowls! The kiddos categorize the singular and plural "bones" into the correct bowl, and they can do the same with the task cards. There are recording sheets and supplemental posters and a worksheet to check for understanding is included. I've included some ideas for use and organization.
Click on the picture below to check out a freebie from this file!
Next up on sale is my Cats and Dogs Verbs Centers file. Verbs are always such a difficult concept for my kiddos! This file is perfect for practicing action, being, and regular and irregular verbs! (Thank you so much, Lisa from Pawsitively Teaching for sharing all of these awesome pictures with me!!!)
And here is my Cats and Dogs Bundle that I'm putting on sale for today! It includes both of these items, the freebie file, and a compare/contrast activity.
And below is the compare/contrast activity in action! It is also sold separately!

It's week 2 of our "Fall"ing Prices Linky Party! Laura from A Grace Filled Classroom came up with this fun idea! (I especially love that it forces me to blog at least once a week for this entire month!) Every Tuesday for the month of October, you can find two items for $2 each from many wonderful TpT sellers! And the great thing is ANYONE can link up! Just check out the info at the bottom of this post!
My first item on sale for $2.00 is one of my best sellers! Last year my kiddos loved playing this Long Division I'm Lovin' It card game with a fun hamburger theme. This game is perfect for your high third or fourth grade students. Set 1 is three digits divided by one divisor, and set 2 is four digits divided by one divisor. There are matching spatula quotients to match up the hamburgers problems with the answers. I had my husband go to McDonald's last year and ask for hamburger boxes so the students could put their problem and spatula cards inside if they answered correctly! (The employees thought he was crazy. Other teachers ask for this stuff, right?) The kids got a kick out of it! They love the mnemonic device also- Does McDonald's Sell Cheese Burgers Rare. (Sometimes they say raw instead of rare!) Click on the picture below or the preview to check it out.

Click on the picture below if you would like the FREEBIE bookmarks!
My next $2.00 item is one of my favorites- Comparing Cafe! So fun! This one is using comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs. I've included a color set and an identical black and white set. There are task cards, interactive notebook pages, teaching posters, and worksheets included. My kids always struggle with this, and this set has really helped them.

And in case you missed it, here's my Monday Made It post from yesterday with a Halloween freebie! Just click on the picture to check it out!
We would love for you to join our linky party! Just see the info below! Can't wait to see what on sale in your store!
Have a great week!

Whew! It's been a busy couple of months! It's hard to believe that mid-October is here and that means I'm on Fall Break! The year has flown by so far. I have a few things to I've been working on this month to share for Tara's October Monday Made It.
The first project I finally completed in October is a third grade addition companion file for chapter 2 of my new math curriculum, My Math. Some of the kiddos have needed more practice with the concepts, so I've created task cards that can be used as centers. I'm planning to make companion packs for all of the chapters. Task cards have come in so handy this year since I'm teaching a 2/3 combo! One group can work on the cards while I'm teaching the other. Here is one of the seven activities in the file. You can read all about my organization of these files HERE. I love it when the kids are having fun, on task, and learning, all at the same time! You can click on the pictures below to see the file.

And you can check out the freebie file for estimating sums by clicking on the picture below!
My new school allows the students to dress up in their costumes for a Halloween parade. (And lucky for us, it's a Friday and a minimum day!) I've gotten into the Halloween spirit and I've created a few party packs. One is monster themed, and one is owl themed, and they include treat bag toppers, water bottle labels, candy bar and granola bar wrappers, homework passes, and banners. Click on each picture to check them out!

I'm super excited to surprise the kiddos with my owl version of "You've Been Booed". Last year one of my very first TpT freebies was "We've Been Owled". This year I thought of "We've Been Hooted". The rules are the same as the ghost version, only you leave the goodies in a cute owl bag or basket. Here is my picture from last year. I left my adorable owl bag at school, but I'm all ready to fill it up with candy when we return!
Basically, a week or two before school starts, you can start by Booing/Owling/or Hooting your class. As a class, you can decide who to secretly send the treats, directions, posters, and check off lists to next. I usually give the teachers a heads up and ask who would like to participate. There have been times that the classroom kept the candy, but didn't keep it going, so I like to let everyone know so they can plan ahead of time and buy candy or opt out.

If you've lasted this long, I think you deserve a freebie! You can click on the picture below to see the FREEBIE file. I have included a few different versions of the owl and ghost posters, with different amounts of color, to suit your printing needs! Hopefully you can use the file and add to your Halloween fun, in a non-scary or evil way. These are the memories the kiddos will remember, and the things, I believe, that truly matter!
Have an awesome day and don't forget to check back tomorrow to link up or check out the deals in our "Fall"ing Prices LInky Party. Two products showcased for $2 every Tuesday throughout October!
