It's another month of our Pick 3 Linky! On the third of each month, my friend Lisa from PAWSitively Teaching and I will be bringing you this fun linky. We always find tons of inspiration from the bloggers who link up. We hope you find some inspiration for February too!
I just love all of the Valentine's ideas floating around on Pinterest! There are so many fun ideas for the classroom!
When I saw these adorable animal Valentines, I knew I had to use them for PAWSitively Teaching's Valentine's Exchange!

My class FLIPPED over the pictures of these Valentines. I showed a few slides like the picture above on my document camera, and the students chose the animal or insect they wanted to create. They turned out adorable! Some of them had to make two of them because they couldn't give up one to send to our friends in the exchange! Our pictures are below.
I was looking for fun science experiments, and came across this fun post!

I am looking forward to doing some of these experiments in my classroom since we will soon be studying matter and chemical reactions soon. A few of these experiments will be perfect for my Valentine's party which will consist of different stations. I will gladly give up my box of Conversation Hearts for that experiment!
I have loved these Valentines ever since I first saw them a few years ago.

The boys in my class would go crazy over these Valentines! You can print the jars from the linked website. You should be able to find the plastic bugs at the Dollar Store too. They are just so cute!

The love bugs are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm giggling and giddy over here over these ideas! I love the animal shaped valentine's. What an awesome idea. I'm thinking my students could make them for one another by choosing a name from hat, supplying the hearts (from our die cut machine ) and have fun. Spreading kindness and having fun. There's nothing quite like a homemade valetine! The love bugs are adorable! I'm pinning away!
