My students LOVE anything that has to do with dogs! These close reads by A First for Everything look amazing! My students love anything that has to do with dogs, so these close reads will be the perfect hook to get them interested. They will look forward to coming to me in reading groups to find out more about the different breeds of dogs included! 

This pack by Creativity to the Core will be so helpful to teach the challenging Common Core standard for compare and contrast. Students compare and contrast nonfiction passages with common children's picture books! 

This file by Learning Lessons with Mrs. Labrasciano is so adorable! She has included print and go sheets, various art projects, and writing projects to go along with a variety of Jan Brett's books! This will be the perfect author study for my second graders.
